Tried rice cereal and cloth diaper for the first time

Wow, it’s been 4 months since my last blog. I wish I have more time blogging but baby keeps me very busy.  Motherhood is more than a full time job. Any half hour break I can get while Andrew is napping is very much appreciated and I try to squeeze as many tasks as I can within that time frame.
I’ve read different books and articles on the internet regarding when to introduce solid food. Our doctor told us during our son’s 4-month visit that we can introduce rice cereal. My husband and I were hesitant at first because I’ve been convinced before to wait until 6 months. There are conflicting reports on this.  Well, we went ahead and introduced rice cereal three days ago at around 4.5 months. Our son is able to sit up and he seems to be interested to aim for the spoon when I bring it close to his mouth.

Here’s some pics of the messy baby and the video.

And below is my husband’s first baby bowl. We've used it for our baby!

I bought this Heinz rice cereal from Shoppers Drug Mart (please note I’m not being paid for showing this brand) because it was on sale.

On a different note, we need to go the next size up (Size 2) diapers and my order from Amazon won’t arrive until at least Tuesday. It’s too bad we still have a lot of the smaller size but it’s just too tight already. So I’ve used the cloth diaper for the first time (got it from my sister) and Andrew had christened it with a big pooh. I’m not gonna post that for obvious reasons but here’s Andrew rocking it.  It feels so comfortable and I might switch to this for good.
